How Bright Star came to be: Edie Brickell was working with Steve Martin writing a song when Steve played a part of it, Edie thought it sounded like a train whistle. Wanting to base if off a real train in the South, she came across the story of the Iron Mountain Baby in the early 1900's. The baby was in a suitcase thrown from a train and was found by a passer by and raised as their own. Bright Star is the fictional back story of how that event may have taken place.

Whether your child is brand new to the stage or already loves to perform, this is a place to make friends, be creative, and have a blast.

Younger students explore imagination and creative play, while older students dive into improv, character work, and performance skills—all while learning to work together as a team.

Divas Through the Decades is a musical tribute to some of the most influential female vocalists in American pop music, featuring songs from the 40's, through today's current hits. The group has performed all over the country including many state and county fairs, corporate and private events, as well as performing on NBC's, "America's Got Talent" in Hollywood CA, and most recently opening for Joan Rivers in Las Vegas. So come with us now as we take a journey through time starting in 1940 with the Andrew's Sisters!

The primary role of a Red Wing Royal Ambassador is to serve and represent "Pretty Little Red Wing" at communities across the state; promote and participate in the annual River City Days festival and the Red Wing Holiday Stroll; and volunteer and promote local events, businesses, and encourage tourism to the community.

These three young women volunteer their time to local elementary schools; participate in events for local non-profit organizations and businesses; and visit several assisted living facilities.

Each Ambassador, all of equal standing, is required to volunteer for a non-profit organization of her choice. As part of candidacy, each participant researches and speaks publicly about the organization she would like to support if chosen as an Ambassador.
